So...today was the long awaited 4D Ultrasound....you know, the way cool one where you can see the actual features of the child...rather than the black & white blur that makes them look like little aliens.
All day I had an active little boy in my belly. He kicked, punched, rolled around. Then...at 3pm...after I had a "talk" with him in the car....He decided to take a nap.
Yes...but not just any nap. My child has decided that he is going to show who is in charge while in utero. That little stinker put his face against my spine and refused to show us anything but his rump.
So the pic of the day....his big feet. You know this is my child for sure because my baby has some big ol' feet! LOL
We get a "do-over" to try to see if my wayward child will behave himself and pose for the camera. I will let you know how that goes....
But never let it be said that my child is not a determined, stubborn, little stinker...I guess he takes after his momma.

Just STOP!
OK, so what gives?
I am not sure when it happened, but I have come to the descision that there are some comments that you just shouldnt make to a pregnant person.
Things along the lines of "Wow, you look like you are about to pop!"
What are you thinking??? What if I was just overweight, not pregnant...would that statement be anyway near ok??? HELL NO~!
Or " Wow, you must be ready to go any day now." When I gently comment that no, I have another 6 weeks to go, the apropriate reply is NOT "Wow, that is one BIG baby"
So I am taking a vow. I will NEVER comment on the size of someone's pregnant belly again. I might smile and ask how far along..(yes, that is an OK question) or ask if they are getting excited about the upcoming event, but NEVER EVER EVER will I EVER comment on size. I dont even see how you could say that you were being polite by asking something like that...unless it is a dear friend or family member...its none of your damn business how much weight that person has gained, or how she is carrying, or how far along she is.
Sorry....I know if you have been pregnant or had preggo friends, you have heard these comments before. I just cant believe some of the crap complete strangers have been saying to me!

Shower for Mom and Me
So Aunt Katie, Nana, and mom's friend Wanda threw a shower for me and mom on March 3rd. What a great time! There were lots of people and CAKE!!! (Mom had 2 pieces!) The ladies played some silly games, ate some yummy food and then opened presents. I got all kinds of great stuff! You should see my closet and dresser, they are full!
Look at this great outfit that my Grandma Dale & Papa Bop got me. There is a baseball on the butt!
