Fun and Crazy things going on in my world

I am have a post over at ALabama Bloggers. So if you are from AL and looking for something to do in Montgomery, go look and see what I have recommended :)

In other news...

Sunday afternoon, my dear friend I have known since HS called me & our girlfriends (there are 4 of us total) to tell us she was a Mother and that she had a 3m old baby girl at home.

She was a little sketchy on the details, partially because I think she is so nervous/excited. But basically, the birth mom doesn't feel she is ready for the responsibility of being a mom.

Personally, I have no idea how you could have a child and give her up, but I am thankful that there are women out there like that because it gives others the opportunities to become the Mother that they have always dreamed of being.

I am so excited for my friend, and now we are just waiting for everything to become legal and official.

We did all go over to her house Sunday night, and fawn over the precious little girl. And there were hugs and tears.

So, any comments are appreciated, and any prayers and happy thoughts for you to send her way as well. I want this all to work out, because she is just one of those people who was born to be Betty Homemaker, and I know she will make an amazing patient and loving momma.

I hear ya, on the mother's who give others the chance to be moms. It took me almost 5 years to finally get pregnant, and I was considering adoption. I still am.
